For correction of skin problems such as varicose veins and skin cancers, too much or no pigment of skin, frostbite, and athlete's foot, Calendula is used in the following manner: First, apply Vitamin E oil from 100 to 400 i.u. capsule (s) to affected area. Soak a gauze in the extract and apply over the area, cover this with a plastic sandwich wrap, and then a cloth wrap to hold everything in place. Change once each day, but allow the area to dry between the applications. Taken internally, it has proven effective for jaundice, water retention, pockets of the colon and stomach problems, as well as viral and bacterial invasion. Many reports from Germany and Austria indicate strengthened vision from continued use. Operation wounds are also corrected by external applications.
