"My mother had congestive heart failure and one of the valves in her heart wouldn't close. She was admitted to the hospital in December 2005 and discharged on January 6, 2006. At that time her legs and feet were swollen with fluid from top to bottom. Her stomach looked like she was eight months pregnant and her lungs had fluid build-up. She was vomiting and had a bad cough because of the fluid in her lungs. The fluid in her stomach was causing a bowel blockage because it was pressing on her intestines.
